A TrueTap-provisioned NFC chip is embedded into the physical item at the point of manufacture or issuance. Each chip is individually provisioned with a unique cryptographic identity tied to the item's record in the TrueTap platform.

Any NFC-enabled smartphone or authorised reader taps the item. No dedicated hardware required for consumer-facing scenarios. The tap initiates a secure cryptographic challenge-response exchange between chip and verification engine.

Verify
Within milliseconds, the TrueTap platform returns a cryptographically verified result — authenticated, tampered, or unknown. Results are logged, auditable, and available via API for downstream workflows.
